Broome Ultimate was recognised for having tournament of the year at the 2014 WADFA awards. We are looking forward to an even better tournament next year!

Both Adult indoor and Youth Indoor is happening again, Starts this week!

Our Junior contingent were a great asset to the team at State Titles.  Weld done Naomi, William and Seth.

We would like to thank the Department of Sport and Recreation as a major contributor toward the junior players attending The Phoenix has Risen Championships.  Sport and recreation builds stronger, healthier, happier and safer communities.

For the first time Broome Ultimate Club is sending a team to The Phoenix has Risen Ultimate State Championships.  The championship is being held in Perth on the 6th and 7th September 2014.

The Team is made up of 14 locals (6 female, 8 male).  They have been training hard and are looking forward to testing out their new skills down in Perth.  The member of the team are:

Captain: Bec Lorraine    Manager: Brad Glorie     Spirit Captain: Jemma Arman

Other Members:  Naomi Mackay, Tash Mavec, Mich Watson, Tristan Oakley, Dante Mavec, Tom Holyoake, Andy Dean, Seth Lovell, Steve Oakley, William Oakley, Mo Bray.

They have also being fundraising to gather funds to help cover costs of registration, shirts and airfares.  A big thank you goes out to all those who have supported the team over the past month, local businesses and general members of the community have been a great help.

Congratulations to Seth Lovell!

Seth has been included in the U18 State boys team heading over to compete at the 2014 Australian Youth Ultimate Championships being held in Melbourne, Victoria on June 7th and 8th.

Broome Ultimate Club has very strong ties with our State Sporting Association (WA Flying Disc Association) and we love being included in their youth development pathway program.

Last year the WA U18 team finished in second place and also included a local Broome resident (Amos Anderson) in their line up. Good to know we breed quality up here in the far North West!

From all of us at the club, Seth, we are super proud of your inclusion in the 2014 team and wish you all the success for the campaign.
